Volleyball Recap: East Comes Up Short on the Road Against Beechcroft

East had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beechcroft Cougars on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

East started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-20, 25-16, 25-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East is set to challenge their familiar foe Linden-McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Beechcroft will take on rival Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
