Volleyball Recap: Westlake Find Success

Westlake picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Carson Colts by a score of 2-0.

Kyson Ririe paced Westlake's offense, picking up six kills. Ririe got some help from Keagan Cundiff and his 19 assists. Talon Schank controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Carson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

After both having extra time off, Westlake and Skyridge will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on April 8. Westlake is facing Skyridge at the right time seeing as Skyridge is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Carson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Bell Gardens on the 29th.
