David Anderson proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the East Palestine Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted against the Bulldogs since April 3, 2019.

David Anderson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Myers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

David Anderson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for East Palestine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.
