Basketball Recap: Brentwood War Eagles vs. Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Brentwood couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 72-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 62-55 loss back in January.
Despite the loss, Brentwood saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tristan Robinson posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Baylor Cobb, who put up eight points.
Central Fellowship Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zaiden Nelson, who earned 21 points.
