Crawford County proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Henryville Hornets, sneaking past 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Crawford County got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 18-25, 25-18, 21-25, 15-12.

Emery Stroud paced Crawford County's offense, picking up 35 kills. Stroud got some help from Abie Adams and her 38 assists.

Henryville's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Logsdon, who had 21 kills and three blocks. Logsdon has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more kills the last ten times she's played. Eva Hill was another key player, getting ten kills, five aces, and three digs.

Crawford County's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Henryville, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-9.

Crawford County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Salem on the 16th. As for Henryville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Southwestern on the 9th.
