Basketball Game Preview: Scappoose Indians vs. Lake Oswego Lakers

The Scappoose Indians will be taking part in a tournament against the Lake Oswego Lakers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

Scappoose is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Banks just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Braves by a score of 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since February 13th.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Oswego). They strolled past McKay with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 89-70. That's two games straight that the Lakers have won by exactly 19 points.

Lake Oswego's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Scappoose, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
