Softball Recap: Goose Creek Falls Short of North Myrtle Beach in the Playoffs

Goose Creek and North Myrtle Beach squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Goose Creek had to settle for second. They lost 17-0 to the Chiefs. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Gators' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Goose Creek's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16. As for North Myrtle Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Goose Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Myrtle Beach, they will take on Chapin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
