Volleyball Recap: Wishkah Valley Comes Up Short

Wishkah Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northwest Christian Wolverines.

Among those leading the charge was Yulianna Espinoza, who had eight aces and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last nine matches.

Wishkah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Northwest Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Wishkah Valley has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Taholah on the 11th. As for Northwest Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Ocosta on the 11th.
