Volleyball Game Preview: Shelby County Cougars vs. West Memphis Christian Black Knights

After both having extra time off, Shelby County Cougars and the West Memphis Christian Black Knights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Shelby County Cougars lost 3-0 to Millington Central last Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Shelby County Cougars in their meetings with Millington Central: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8, 25-14.

Meanwhile, West Memphis Christian got the win against Fayette Academy last Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Knights.

West Memphis Christian never let Fayette Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 28-26.

Shelby County Cougars' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Memphis Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.
