Soccer Recap: Palma Find Success

Palma won the last time they faced Santa Catalina and things went their way on Monday too. The Palma Chieftains came out on top against the Santa Catalina Cougars by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Chieftains were the better team in the second half.

They hit Santa Catalina with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Elizabeth Fuqua, Allison Guerra, and Molly Nino.

The victory got Palma back to even at 6-6-2. As for Santa Catalina, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

Palma wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Pacific Grove on the 5th. As for Santa Catalina, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Greenfield on the 5th.
