Softball Recap: Hug Takes a Loss

Hug was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the North Valleys Panthers, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-4 last Wednesday.

Hug's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for North Valleys, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hug will square off against rival Wooster at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, North Valleys is set to challenge their familiar foe South Tahoe at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
