Baseball Recap: Brentwood Christian Takes a Loss

Brentwood Christian was the 5-3 winner over Texans Baseball Homeschool when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Brentwood Christian Bears lost 12-3 to the Texans Baseball Homeschool Texans on Friday. The loss was the Bears' first of the season.

Brentwood Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Hunka, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hunka is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stolen at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brentwood Christian fell to 2-1. As for Texans Baseball Homeschool, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brentwood Christian is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge Savio at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Texans Baseball Homeschool, they will venture away from home to square off against Pflugerville Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
