Central Christian waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the South Barber Chieftains. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chieftains, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Central Christian was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15.

Reese Swanson paced Central Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. SwanSon got some help from Avery Kauffman and her 23 assists. Townsly Huff controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Central Christian's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for South Barber, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-14.

Coincidentally, Central Christian and South Barber will both be playing Norwich the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Eagles at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, while the Chieftains will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
