Softball Recap: Franklin Gets the Win

While Franklin's win against Bound Brook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors won by a run and slipped past the Crusaders 6-5. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on C Gomez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. F Cheung was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.

The win got Franklin back to even at 2-2. As for Bound Brook, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Franklin will face off against Somerville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bound Brook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Hunterdon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Crusaders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
