Softball Recap: Marshall Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

Marshall put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Marquez Gladiators.

Marshall's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Saucedo, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Marshall's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Marquez, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Looking ahead, Marshall will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagle Rock at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Barristers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Marquez, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 win against Maywood Academy on the 4th.
