Basketball Recap: North Star Co-Op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Starts off Right with Win over Benson County [Leeds/Maddock]

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 61-42 win over the Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Bearcats as they're now sitting on 11 straight dating back to last season.

Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] will be home for the holidays to greet New Rockford-Sheyenne at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benson County [Leeds/Maddock], they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Town at 5:45 p.m. on December 26th.
