Mary G. Montgomery has been on a difficult stretch since their win on February 21. They lost 10-0 to the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 19th).

Mary G. Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for McGill-Toolen, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mary G. Montgomery will venture away from home to challenge UMS-Wright Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mary G.
