Basketball Game Preview: North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays vs. South Central Satellites

The North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays will square off against the South Central Satellites at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (North Judson-San Pierre has five straight wins, South Central has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

North Judson-San Pierre is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Triton: they outscored them in every quarter. North Judson-San Pierre enjoyed a cozy 55-37 victory over Triton on Friday. Given the Bluejays' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Trojans are ranked 353rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, South Central ended up a good deal behind Tri-Township on Friday and lost 31-16.

North Judson-San Pierre's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. As for South Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Everything came up roses for North Judson-San Pierre against South Central in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 70-32 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Judson-San Pierre since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
