Basketball Recap: Winter Beats Birchwood for Their Third Straight Victory

Winter had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down the Birchwood Bobcats 62-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-30 back in December of 2024.

Winter has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Birchwood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Winter will head out to face off against Clayton at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Clayton will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Winter surely won't give up without a fight. As for Birchwood, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Birchwood Bobcats challenge the Prairie Farm Panthers at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
