Baseball Recap: Shadow Creek Takes a Loss

Shadow Creek was the 4-1 winner over Pasadena Memorial when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Sharks fell 10-5 to the Mavericks on Friday.

Lubin Rincon made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Shadow Creek is 3-1 when Rincon posts three or more RBI, but 4-12 otherwise. Edrick Lerma was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Shadow Creek has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Pasadena Memorial, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shadow Creek will face off against La Porte at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pasadena Memorial, they will challenge Pearland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
