Basketball Recap: Chatham Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cairo-Durham last Monday, Chatham came back down to earth. The Chatham Panthers fell to the Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks 47-42. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Riverhawks: they've now lost five in a row.

Chatham now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Coxsackie-Athens, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Chatham Panthers face off against the Maple Hill Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Coxsackie-Athens will take on Lansingburgh in a holiday battle at at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
