Harpeth and Fairview are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Indians will venture away from home to take on the Yellowjackets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the War Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Ashlyn Corbin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

At the plate, Allie Penning was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Abbie Hammon also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Harpeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1.

Harpeth beat Fairview 11-7 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
