Daviess County waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Butler County Bears by a score of 67-57. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Bears on their court since March 4, 2017.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Price, who posted 24 points. Price's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was Briar Griffin, who earned 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Daviess County's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Butler County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-15.

Daviess County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-45 victory against Breckinridge County on the 8th. Butler County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
