Mingus played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Mohave Thunderbirds. The victory continues a trend for the Marauders in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won seven in a row.

Kaden Pusl spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Mingus' win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Derrick Alvarez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Silas Scott, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Mingus' victory bumped their record up to 6-13-1. As for Mohave, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Mingus will have a chance to go back-to-back against Mohave: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
