 Caruthers can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Minarets Mustangs as the Caruthers Blue Raiders made off with  an  8-2 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Caruthers.
  Lucas Ramirez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on six hits.
 At the plate,  Mason Ishii was a standout: he scored a  run while going 4-for-4.  Esben Smith was another key contributor,  going 2-for-2 with three  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  double.
 On Minarets' side,  Caleb Herbert put in work no matter where he played. He  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. Herbert was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI.
 Herbert wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Torin Wolf, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Minarets  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with nine  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Caruthers only tossed four.
 Caruthers is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season. As for Minarets, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with that  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Caruthers will  square off against Sierra at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Sierra will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  win, something Caruthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Minarets, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Fowler at 4:00  p.m.
