Softball Recap: East Takes a Loss

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-6 to the Bristol Panthers.

East's record now sits at 0-16. As for Bristol, their win bumped their record up to 10-7-1.

Looking ahead, East will be taking part in a tournament against Canfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bristol, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Grand Valley at 5:00 p.m. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.43 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
