Softball Recap: Nazareth Area Blue Eagles vs. Pocono Mountain East Cardinals
Pocono Mountain East typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Nazareth Area proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Cardinals. The Blue Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Shauna McNamee, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Gianna Perillo, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
