Christ Prep Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Kansas City East Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's game. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Lions on Saturday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Noah Wagner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Christ Prep Academy got a big performance out of Hudson Davis, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Davis has become a key player for the Patriots: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-11 otherwise. Joshua Eddy also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Christ Prep Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
