Basketball Game Preview: Boonville Pirates vs. California Pintos

Last Monday, Boonville blew past Tri-County, posting a 75-37 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, California suffered their biggest loss since January 19, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against Skyline, falling 66-41.

California's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Boonville, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.

Boonville might still be hurting after the 60-40 loss they got from California in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Boonville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
