Baseball Recap: Midland Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

The Midland Chemics were able to grind out a solid victory over the East Lansing Trojans on Friday, taking the game 6-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chemics.

Midland pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for East Lansing, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Midland will venture away from home to face off against Heritage at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Lansing, they will host Holt at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
