Basketball Recap: James River Takes a Loss

James River lost against Riverheads on December 5th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The James River Knights took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverheads Gladiators.

James River's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Riverheads, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James River will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Riverheads and Stonewall Jackson will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. Riverheads is facing Stonewall Jackson at the right time seeing as Stonewall Jackson is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
