After flying high against Shepard last Friday, Thornton Fractional North came back down to earth. The Thornton Fractional North Meteors received a blow on Sunday as they fell 60-44 to the Payton College Prep Grizzlies. The Meteors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Thornton Fractional North's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Payton College Prep, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.
