Basketball Recap: Tre'von Hodges Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Bethel

Meadowdale won the last time they faced Bethel and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Meadowdale Lions managed a 61-57 victory over the Bethel Bees. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Meadowdale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tre'Von Hodges led the charge by going 6-for-14 to rack up 16 points along with seven boards and five assists. That's the most rebounds Hodges has posted since back in December of 2024. Dy'Lan Branigan was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Meadowdale's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Bethel, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Meadowdale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 86-49 defeat against Northridge on the 15th. As for Bethel, they have also already played their next contest, a 51-42 loss against Troy Christian on the 14th.
