Lloyd Memorial hasn't had much luck against Grant County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Juggernauts are taking a road trip to challenge the Braves at 5:30 p.m. Lloyd Memorial will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Lloyd Memorial's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Williamstown.

Kj Nussbaum looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Lloyd Memorial is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 12-13 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Lloyd Memorial got a massive performance out of Grayson Begnoche, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Begnoche has been hot, having also posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played. Colten Barger was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Lloyd Memorial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .731. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2025.
Meanwhile, Grant County came up short against Western Hills on Monday and fell 9-5.
Braiden Beach made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Arnold, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Lloyd Memorial now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Grant County, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.
Lloyd Memorial might still be hurting after the 9-2 defeat they got from Grant County in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Juggernauts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
