Basketball Recap: Dorchester Comes Up Short

Dorchester lost against Osceola back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dorchester Longhorns were beaten by the Osceola Bulldogs 63-21.

Kelby Neujahr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Osceola, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. The game was Neujahr's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jackson Winslow was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Dorchester dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Osceola, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Dorchester will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lewiston at 5:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Osceola, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-55 loss against Aquinas on the 20th.
