Soccer Game Preview: Valley vs. Indian Springs

The Valley Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Indian Springs Student at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Valley is headed into Friday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since February 27. Neither they nor Elmore County could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Manuel Fernandez and Santiago Diaz scored both of Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Despite a strong season so far, Indian Springs has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-0 to Oak Mountain on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Indian Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Oak Mountain are ranked first).

Indian Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 14-4-3. Valley's draw makes their record 5-7-2 this season.
