Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Houston Christian). They claimed a resounding 70-19 win over The Awty International Rams. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Rams are ranked 1294th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Houston Christian pushed their record up to 6-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for The Awty International, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Houston Christian will welcome Kinkaid at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kinkaid knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Houston Christian likes a good challenge. As for The Awty International, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cooper at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
