After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arlington, Martin was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Centennial Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Martin was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Martin is on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-17 record this season. As for Centennial, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 31-13.

Martin and Centennial are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Warriors will take on Richardson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centennial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arlington Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
