Basketball Game Preview: Greenon Knights vs. Tri-County North Panthers

The Greenon Knights just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Tri-County North Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Greenon will be strutting in after a win while Tri-County North will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Greenon didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Southeastern Local, but they still walked away with a 48-44 victory.

Meanwhile, Tri-County North played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 55-28 defeat at the hands of Arcanum. The Panthers have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Greenon's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Tri-County North, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-13.

Greenon beat Tri-County North 65-54 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
