Basketball Recap: Maple Valley Lions vs. Stockbridge Panthers
It was a proper cat-fight when Maple Valley duked it out withStockbridge on Tuesday. The Maple Valley Lions were outmatched by the Stockbridge Panthers and fell 78-40. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelvin Nevins-Davis, who posted seven points and five boards. Teegen McDonald was another key player, putting up nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Maple Valley and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Stockbridge, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.
Maple Valley has already played their next contest, a 62-37 loss against Union City on the 31st. As for Stockbridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-45 victory against Springport on the 31st.
