Basketball Recap: Scott County Takes a Loss

Scott County was the 64-61 winner over Covington Catholic when they last played one another back in March of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Scott County Cardinals were beaten by the Covington Catholic Colonels 86-46 on Friday. The loss was the Cardinals' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Scott County fell to 2-1. As for Covington Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Scott County will head out to square off against Madison Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covington Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-60 defeat against Great Crossing on the 14th.
