Highland entered their tilt with Desert Ridge on Monday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Highland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-23.

Camryn Thruston was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September. Kendall Mosley also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 26-9. As for Desert Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-11 record this season.
