Football Recap: Midlothian Trojans vs. Hermitage Panthers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Midlothian can now relate to. They fell 26-14 to the Hermitage Panthers on Friday. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in November of 2021.
Avery Curtis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hermitage, rushing for 169 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also picking up 50 receiving yards. Curtis' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards. Ben Yeanay was another key player, rushing for 40 yards and one score.
