Sand Creek extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Ethan Mangrum. The Scorpions claimed a resounding 50-0 victory over the Palmer Terrors with plenty of help from Mangrum, who rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Sand Creek's defense made their presence known, laying out Jaiden Vills six times. Palmer's QB won't forget Achilles Evans anytime soon given he sacked him 2.5 times.

Sand Creek's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Palmer, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Sand Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 61-0 victory against Thornton on the 3rd. As for Palmer, after each having a week off, they and Pueblo South will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The contest will give the Terrors their first taste of in-conference action this season.
