Andrew Wingate turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two walks surrendered on Wednesday. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). He was up against St. Mary's Academy and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in February of 2024. Wingate is becoming a predictor of Holy Spirit Prep's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 1-7 when he doesn't).
