Basketball Recap: Kadoka Skates Past Bison with Ease

Kadoka won the last time they faced Bison and things went their way on Friday too. The Kadoka Kougars breezed by the Bison Cardinals to the tune of 61-32. With the Kougars ahead 35-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Kadoka got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kole Hermann out in front who went 6 of 9 en route to 15 points and three steals. Hermann's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karson Eisenbraun, who posted eight points along with six steals and three blocks.

Kadoka smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive contests.

Kadoka now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Bison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Kadoka will square off against Bennett County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kadoka is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season. As for Bison, they will face off against Edgemont at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Edgemont has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
