Baseball Recap: Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Lighthouse Private Christian Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bay Tornadoes. This was a revenge game for the Stingrays: when they faced off against the Tornadoes back in February, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Lighthouse Private Christian Academy's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Bay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.
