Volleyball Recap: Hall Titans vs. Newington Nor'easters
Hall kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Newington Nor'easters by a score of 3-2. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Nor'easters apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Hall actually scored more points across those five sets (104-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 14-25, 25-21, 15-13.
Newington can attribute much of their success to Adam Redman, who had 20 digs and one assist. Those 20 digs gave Redman a new career-high.
Newington is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hall will head out to square off against Rockville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newington, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Farmington at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
