Gateway College Preparatory had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Lampasas Badgers. That's two games straight that the Gators have won by exactly three runs.

Gateway College Preparatory's record now sits at 19-4. As for Lampasas, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Gateway College Preparatory will venture away from home to take on Salado at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
