Forbush has gone 10-0 against Starmount recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Forbush Falcons will square off against the Starmount Rams at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Forbush took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They breezed by Wilkes Central to the tune of 67-3. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Starmount had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Cardinals out 52-50. 52 seems to be a good number for the Rams as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Forbush better keep an eye on Molly Swaim. She was instrumental in Starmount's win, going 10 for 19 on her way to 25 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Swaim is becoming a predictor of Starmount's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 11-1 (and 1-4 when she doesn't). Carley Money was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Forbush's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.5 points. As for Starmount, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Everything came up roses for Forbush against Starmount when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 69-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Forbush since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
